❗️ 5 Benefits of Karela (bitter gourd) Juice that had me sold ❗️




1. Regular intake helps prevent the rise of blood sugar levels which is imperative in preventing Type II diabetes

2. Encourages our liver to secrete fat burning enzymes so it is excellent for weight loss. It is used as a natural ingredient to combat obesity.

3. It is a great way to get that glowing skin you have strived. Also, it prevents premature skin aging and diminishes wrinkles because it has powerful antioxidants along with Vit A and Vit C

4. Cleanses the liver (great for those recovering from alcoholism) and the bowel (those who struggle with constipation).

To prepare:


1. Wash the Karela


2. Slice them vertically


3. Scoop out the insides (kind of like a bell pepper), and chop into smaller pieces


4. Blend in your juicer! You can add lemon juice, ginger, or even pair it with a sweet fruit to improve the taste. 🍎


& YES It does NOT taste even remotely good (just like sipping on black coffee for the first time or straight liquor) BUT try taking It like a shot & chase it down with some water! I found it is better to consume this way then to mix with water or other ingredients. It is TOTALLY worth it—if we can take shots, we can gobble this down too! haha mind over matter!
